Role of the platform

NOWEWO is a neutral digital notice board. We are not a temporary employment agency, secondment company or job placement agency. We do not select candidates, make no contracts and pay no wages.

Own responsibility

Employers and job seekers make their own agreements. They are themselves responsible for contracts, screening, work permits and working conditions.

Minimum age

You must be 16 years or older to post a vacancy or profile.

Rules for vacancies

• Only the employer itself posts a vacancy. Employment agencies, secondment agencies and other intermediaries may not post vacancies.
• A vacancy is for real, existing work.
• Language requirements are objective and needed for the work.
• No requirements about origin, nationality, ethnicity, religion, age or gender.
• Job seekers never pay to get a job.
• An employer never keeps the passport or identity document of a worker.
• Not allowed: sex work, escort and erotic massage, work you have to pay for, pyramid schemes and illegal work.

Rules for profiles

Information in a profile is true. Photos show your own work and no faces of other people without their permission. A video of yourself is optional.

What is public

Everything on your card is public while it is online. For job seekers: the name you choose, your place of residence, languages, text, photos and, if you add one, your video; never your phone number. For employers: the company name, place, phone number, text, photos and video. By posting a card you confirm that you may share these photos and videos and that the people in them agree. You can remove your card at any time; then we delete everything.

Moderation

Anyone can report a vacancy or profile. After reports from 3 different people, a card is hidden until our team has looked at it. Our team checks the first vacancy of every new employer, and vacancies with certain words, before they go online. When you post a vacancy, we also check the text automatically for words about personal characteristics, and you see a warning. If we hide or remove a card, we tell the owner why by email; the owner can object by replying to that email. We may block accounts that break these rules. Authorities and users can reach us via the contact page.

Liability

We are not liable for agreements, disputes or damage between employers and job seekers.

Costs

Job seekers always use the platform for free. Posting vacancies is free. Employers can pay to put a vacancy at the top once (€2) or to feature it for 7 days ({f7}) or 14 days ({f14}). You see the price before you pay.

Order of vacancies and profiles

Featured vacancies come first, with the label Featured. All other vacancies and all profiles are sorted by date, newest first. A vacancy that is moved to the top, or a profile that is renewed, counts as new. Filters work the same for everyone. We do not sort on anything else.
